Master Scheduler
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Develop and Manage planning tools to support internal and external customer requirements for all products as they are relate to Assembly Value Stream.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Develop and Manage planning tools to support internal and external customer requirements for all products as they are relate to Assembly Value Stream.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Perform EDI (Electronic Data Interface) Order Validation.
- Develop and manage daily/weekly assembly build plan.
- Create and maintain shop orders.
- Consume scrap and re-manufactured parts.
- Develop and maintain sales forecasts (Demand Management).
- Develop and maintain MPS Process to support S&OP including finished inventory banks.
- Evaluate MRP (Materials Requirements Planning).
- Take Lead Logistics role on project management teams for new and existing projects assigned.
- Manage customer returns.
- Schedule parts for service requirements.
- Schedule Pre-assemble production and service kits.
- Maintain customer contacts and act as Primary Point-of-Contact for all customers.
- Expedite direct material as needed.
- Evaluate and manage stock levels and keep within planned parameters.
- Maintain Material Master Extension for MRP Planning.
- Direct “Shipping Authorization Approval” process.
- Process Automatic Goods Receipt Error Handling-COGI (Cost of Goods Issue).
- Provide back-up for other scheduling personnel.
- Control of out-source material.
- Maintain Customer System to ensure seamless communication and protect delivery performance measures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office, SAP, Internet.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Detail conscious.
FORMAL EDUCATION:
- Mandatory High School Diploma
- Preferred Two-year degree or CPIM Certification and/or other inventory management training.
ON THE JOB EXPERIENCE:
- One year manufacturing experience
- SAP Material Management skills or previous scheduling experience preferred
